Master of Science (M. Sc) in Chemistry

Master of Science in Chemistry is a two-year Postgraduate Degree program that focuses on advanced studies in the field of Chemistry. Typically, MSc Chemistry course offers a comprehensive curriculum covering various aspects of Chemistry, including Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Biochemistry. It is basically combines aspects of other areas of science, such as biology and physics, and applies them to the study of everything from natural to man-made materials. It enables the graduates to contribute to the society by creating new materials, new medicine and new sources of energy to enhance the quality of human life and sustain mother nature. Understanding the complex chemical reactions which help make up our world are key to helping to protect the environment from harmful human activities. Chemistry can also help with advancements in areas such as energy storage and electric vehicles to help protect and preserve the natural world. A chemistry degree allows the students to understand the world. Form the living things to non-living things and   their compositions, to the air the humans breathe to the food that is being eaten chemicals and chemical processes are crucial to the very existence of the Universe. By learning chemistry, enables the graduate to understand how stuff works, how it is made and generally develop a better understanding of life.

Why study MSc Chemistry?

A postgraduate degree in chemistry provides plenty of directly related career opportunities. While many go on to be a type of chemist, the knowledge one gains and the skills acquired can be applied to other fields, such as education, medicine, sustainability, environmental science, forensics, and much more.
